Eco Church
Eco Church
In 202x St Paul’s PCC made the decision to become an Eco Church. This meant signing up with A Rocha UK who provide advice, guidance and criteria to help guide us through our growth into this area.
Why?
This is not about worshipping creation, though worshipping outdoors in the beauty of creation is always good! It is more that in Genesis 2.15, ‘The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.’ We take this call seriously, recognising God’s delight in what he created, and His desire to see it stay delightful. We believe that by engaging in work like this we are also able to connect with wider community groups and we do hope to share some of his delight and love for his creation with them.
