Scramblers (3-5 years)
Scramblers is our Sunday morning group for 3 - 5s, and it's so much fun! The group takes place during the 10.15am service, and we get the chance to learn about the Bible, and who Jesus is by singing songs, doing crafts, dressing up, listening to Bible stories and, of course, playing!
Round The Table
Come join us at St Paul’s Church for Round the Table a space for children and their parents/carers to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and homemade cakes and chat. Each week there will be a ‘round-the-table’ question or topic to discuss and crafts and activities will also be available. Round the Table meets most Tuesdays right after school unitl 4pm.JUMP! (5-11 years)
JUMP! is all about learning how to be disciples of Jesus in our world today. It happens during the 10.15am service every Sunday in term time. We do fun games and activities, sing songs, act out dramas, watch or make videos and generally get a little bit silly! We do some stuff as a whole group, and other things in smaller groups so that you have a chance to get to know each other better, too!
SPYC (11+)
St Paul's Youth Church (SPYC) is about taking the next step. Many of us have heard stories from the Bible, either at church or at school, and they might seem like just that - stories. In Youth Church, we look at why they might matter to us, and be relevant to our lives. There is time to ask questions, voice opinions, raise doubts, and, of course, chances to chat together and have a whole lot of fun as well! This group happens on Sundays from 10.15am in the Upper Room at St Paul's
Kaleidoscope (11+)
Meets 7-9pm every other Monday during term time at St Paul's, beginning on 19th September
Kaleidoscope is about discovering the amazing gifts you all have, and using them together with other people's to create something brilliant. We start every session with pizza and chat, before having a chance to use our existing skills and discover some new ones. Up until Christmas we will be running different workshops each fortnight, including drama, music, sound engineering, stomp-style drumming, set design and costume making! After Christmas we want to give you the chance to use all of your skills to rehearse and put on a musical some time in the Spring.
Explorers (School Years 4-6)
Explorers meets 6.30-7.45pm every Wednesday during term time, in the crypt at St Paul's. Here are some of the things that you will find if you come to Explorers: silly games, fun crafts, a tuck shop, great activities and lots of laughter! We try to be 'Kids in the Community', so you will also get the chance to do things like litter picking, visiting the residents of a nearby care home, and other great stuff too! Plus, we spend some time looking at what Jesus thinks of us doing these things!
The Source (14+)
The Source is about meeting together to eat food, chat with one another and grow in our relationship with God, and our understanding of who He is. Each week we discuss, reflect upon and apply God’s word. We hope that this is a place where you can ask questions, feel encouraged, and put into practice the things that we learn. We love God and we love to hang out together!
The Source meets on Sunday evenings at St. Paul's Church, with a set time yet to be decided, currently changing from week to week (for more details e-mail Hannah Frost at: hannahfrost12@gmail.com).
Banner Group
The banner group meets fortnightly on Monday mornings in church, to produce banners for the church to enhance our worship. At present there are 4 members, Irene and Jean from the 8.45 service, and Barbara and Gill from the 10.15 service.
