About St Paul's Holgate

There is only so much  a screen can tell you.  We hope this one will tell you a bit about who we are.

We are a community of people who think that Jesus matters. Some of us have tried to walk his way for a lifetime; most of us feel as if we are still learning what it means to try to live in harmony with him; some of us are still dipping a toe in the water and wondering about it all.

Between us we are at many different stages in  our spiritual journeys but perhaps we are beginning to find that the important thing is to travel together.

There are lots of warm and welcoming churches in York. All we  claim is that we are trying to be one of them. We hope you’ll find something on this site that looks like a good starting point for you to taste life here.
